Well, I am now transitioning Ezzy to being a house dog and not a livestock guardian. I had to bail her out of jail on Sunday.
About the past two summers she's become deathly afraid of thunder, and fireworks and gun shots. When she is afraid she breaks out of where ever she is at and runs around, usually coming up by the house. She just runs. Sunday our neighbors were doing some shooting and this time she ran off of our property and someone turned her in to the pound. I am glad for that because she could have just as easily gotten hit on the highway.
Lokum died of natural causes back in July so she no longer has a partner and it just seems fitting to bring her inside for retirement. Way back when we got her I figured we'd bring her inside during her old age. That time is now.
