I came upon your blog today as my husband and I are challenged by our kangal that we adopted a year ago from Iraq. She was taken in by a soldier and then he was not able to keep her. We have come to the realization that we are not the perfect family/environment for Lucy. She is doing well in all areas but seems to need that guardian responsibility. Do you know of anyone (who understands this amazing breed) that might be interested in giving Lucy the life she is intended for? I would appreciate any help. We love her and want whats best for her.
